Fighting for Rural Fresno County.

Omar knows what it means to grow up in rural Fresno County. The son of hardworking immigrants, he was raised on a local dairy, learning early on the values of hard work, community, and perseverance that define the Central Valley.

After graduating from Fresno State, where he served as ASI President representing over 25,000 students, Omar continued serving his community through local government and now works for the United States Congress.

He's also an elected member of the West Hills Community College District Board of Trustees, fighting every day for students and workforce opportunities in the Valley.

Omar isn't coming to Fresno County from somewhere else. He's always been here, and he's running because he believes every corner of this county deserves strong, attentive leadership.

Omar's Vision for Fresno County

Protecting What Makes Fresno County Exceptional
Our farmland and water resources are the foundation of this region. Omar will ensure growth decisions protect agriculture — not put it at risk.

Bringing Good Jobs to Rural Communities
Families shouldn't have to leave the Valley to find opportunity. Omar will work to attract industries and jobs that strengthen rural communities and keep our people here.

Investing in the Infrastructure We Deserve
Roads, water systems, and broadband in small towns and unincorporated areas have gone overlooked for too long. Omar will make sure rural Fresno County gets its fair share.
